  1. Befaco - BF-22 Sallen-Key Filter

Befaco's dual low/high pass filter BF-22 is inspired by the filter of the early MS-20 which is based on the Sallen-Key filter topography. The tendency of sound is obvious- the filter freaks out, screams and is pretty dirty. The resonance is more present than in the original, though and thanks to befaco it is voltage controllable.
The two filters can be used individually and connected in series.

  2. Befaco - Even VCO

This analog VCO has been designed for ultra-precise tracking, up to 1 cent per octave and it produces a stable frequency even if the operational voltages are drifting. Further yummy features are linear frequency modulation and an unique waveform called EVEN which emphasises the even harmonics.

  3. Befaco - i² Instrument Interface

The i² Instrument Interface has to be considered a practical tool for extracting voltages from an injected audio signal, e.g. to generate dynamic modulations by various control voltages and to generate triggers and gates. The module has a pre-amp and a band pass filter as well.

  4. Befaco - Rampage

Befaco's approach of a dual complex function generator á la Serge / Buchla / Maths externds the idea of an integrator for slew limiting, envelope generation and oscillations by an analog logic processor and a slope detector per function generator which generates complex gate signals by analyzing if the generated curve is rising or falling at the given time.

  5. Befaco - Crush Delay v2

Like various echo/delay modules of recent times also the Crush Delay is based around a PT2399 chip. Indeed, it can handle the clean range of the chip but its area of expertise obviously are the extreme ranges of the chip, full of artefacts, noise and »digital garbage« (to quote Befaco). Sort of circuit bending ex factory.
To audio inutps are great for feedbacks which, nota bene, is equipped with automatic gain control.

  6. Befaco - Spring Reverb

A spring reverb module equipped with a high pass filter, voltage controlled dry/wet mix, a VU meter at the output as well as two signal inupts with different routing, allowing for feedback by patching. Voltage control of several parameters provides for a living and dynamic reverb effect.
A spring tank is supplied with the module.

  7. Befaco - A*B+C

Dual four-quadrant multiplier with voltage controlled offset. Each of the two sections can be used in a number of ways, for instance as a voltage controlled polarizer, as a ring modulator or as a VCA. Used together both sections can form a four-channel mixer.

  8. Befaco - VC ADSR

Small, crisp and flexible – The VC ADSR is a compact, well equipped envelope offering excellent performance. The module can be activated via its gate input or a button. A trigger / gate switch allows the user to choose between two modes of operation. Attack, decay, sustain and release parameters are manually adjustable via sliders. Additionally, they can be modulated using CV inputs. The curves of all time values are shapeable. Four gate outputs emit a signal every time the corresponding phase (A, D, S or R) is active.
