Conventionally used you would patch up to five signals into the inputs and mix them. But the Sub Ring goes further, deriving a number of signals from input 1. Due to normalizations they are available at the other inputs and can be dialed in with the potentiometers.
Channel 1 is equipped with a polarizer which allows for controlling level and phase simultaneously.
Channels 2 and 3 derive two sub octaves from input 1.
An analog white noise is pre-patched to channel 4.
Channel 5 carries the ring modulated product of channels 1 and 3. These signals can be the otginal signal and the second sub-osctave or two different, directly patched signals. As the inputs are DC-coupled you might as well patch a CV into input 3 and use the ring mod as a VCA.
The mixture is available at the MIX output. The noise signal is emitted at an individual output but its level is not changed by the level control on channel 4.
Five inputs, one mix output, one noise output
