Frequency Central - Trans Europa Black

Voltage processor with a number of interesting features for manipulating CVs (in first line pitch CVs with 1V/oct) like voltage controlled octave switching, voltage controlled semitone transposition with eight musical scales to choose from and a glide which can be gate activated. Especially the transpose function is great as it makes pseudo random sequences or arpegio-like lines possible, way easier than with a quantizer. Beyond that you might use it as a pure octave switch for VCOs or as a complex voltage source.

Octave switching in the range of -4 to +4 octaves; can be done manually with a control or with a bipolar voltage (-5V to +5V).

Semitone transposition in a range of one octave when done with the control. If you use bi-polar voltages you can transpose downwards. 0V equal no transposition.
There are eight different musical scales for transposition to choose from: semitones, M7, m7, chords, diminuished intervals etc.

The last function is a glide which can be turned on and off with a gate signal, which is great for making acid bass lines.

Picture shows the old, fatter panel graphics. The new one is thinner but otherwise the same.

The CV inputs are not 1V/octave!
