The signal flow of the SND/RTN is fairly simple to understand. Audio material is fed to a 3.5 mm jack and gets adjusted in its level via the send potentiometer. Afterwards, it can be tapped off a 6.3 mm connector. Once the signal has been processed by an effects processor, the musician is able to reroute it back into the SND/RTN using the 6,3 mm return jack. Back in the module, the material can be leveled a second time. Afterwards, it is possible to mix dry and wet signals either manually or by using the CV bus. The results can be fed to other modules using the 3.5 mm output jack.
