  1. Grp Synthesizer - VCO

The Grp VCO is an analog precision oscillator with voluminous sound. The module emits sine, triangle, saw and variably wide pulse waves at individual outputs. Additionally, there is a sub oscillator, which can generate signals one or two octaves below the main VCO. Coarse and fine tune controls plus an octave switch allow you to flexibly alter the module’s pitch. Furthermore, there are two FM inputs, one of which is switchable between linear and exponential characteristic. Sync and PWM functions are available as well, of course.

  3. Grp Synthesizer - Envelope Follower

The Grp Envelope Follower scans audio signals and generates a continuous control voltage based on the detected volume. Input level and threshold are adjustable. It is even possible to directly connect a microphone. The amplitude of the generated control voltage can be influenced as well. – It is even possible to invert the CV signals. As soon as the audio material fed to the module reaches the threshold, a trigger signal is generated. Thanks to the Pre Out socket, you don’t need a signal splitter to use the Grp Envelope Follower.

  4. Grp Synthesizer - 12db SVF

The 12 dB SVF is a smooth sounding state variable filter with individual outputs for -12 dB high-pass, -6 dB band-pass, -12 dB low-pass and -6 dB notch characteristic. A fifth output can be switched between the filter types mentioned. On the input side, there are two sockets, one with level control. A 1 v / octave input allows you to create key tracking patches. For cutoff modulations, there are two FM inputs. – One with attenuator. On top of all that, there is a distortion circuit built-in.

  5. Grp Synthesizer - Fixed Filter Bank

The Fixed Filter Bank uses low-pass, high-pass and twelve band-pass filters to split incoming audio material into several parts. Each segment can be leveled individually. Thanks to a bypass switch, the module can be quickly removed from the signal path. Its sound is reminiscent of classic filter banks like the one in the Moog modular system.

  6. Grp Synthesizer - Mixer

The Grp Mixer features three signal inputs with level control. Its output is adjustable in volume as well. Besides audio material, the Grp Mixer is also suitable for control voltages. A clever feature: Two connectors emit results in normal and inverted form.

  8. Grp Synthesizer - S&H-Noise

The S&H-Noise is a very useful utility module. It consists of a well-equipped sample & hold circuit plus a noise generator with white, pink and low outputs. The S&H stage can be clocked internally or externally. The input for the signal to be sampled features a level control. In addition to stepped signals, smooth voltages with variable glide time are generated as well. The module’s internal clock generator can be used to synchronize other circuits.

  9. Grp Synthesizer - Stereo Out Module

The Stereo Out Module sounds as good as it looks. There are four signal inputs, which can be leveled individually. Two of these channels come equipped with panorama potentiometers. The other channels are hard panned to the left and right. Two main outputs with separate volume controls emit the results. VU meters visualize signals coming through here. Furthermore, there are two headphone outputs, which share a level knob.

  10. Grp Synthesizer - VCA

Simple yet clever – The Grp VCA can work with either linear or exponential characteristic. Thus, the module is equally suitable for processing audio material as well as control voltages. Incoming signals can be leveled before entering the actual VCA circuit. The latter can be opened manually and via two control voltage inputs. One of the CV channels comes equipped with an attenuator. On the output side, there is a normal and an inverted connector available.

  11. Grp Synthesizer - VCF 24db

The VCF24db is a fat sounding transistor-ladder low-pass. Special features include automatic gain correction and a beefy distortion circuit. The module can self-oscillate. While doing so, it is possible to play it like an oscillator. Furthermore, there are individual outputs for audio material filtered with an edge steepness of -6 dB, -12 dB, -18 dB and -24 dB per octave. A fifth output can be switched between the slopes mentioned. One of two inputs is adjustable in level. Cutoff frequency and resonance parameters come equipped with CV inputs plus attenuators.
