MFB - Multimode VCF

The Multimode VCF is based on the filter circuitry known from the Nanozwerg Pro. High-pass, band-pass, notch and low-pass modes are available. The slope is -12 dB per octave. Thanks to several CV inputs plus key tracking via the system bus, the module can be dynamically influenced. The basic sound of the Multimode VCF is crisp and full. High resonance values lead the filter into clean self-oscillation.

The Multimode VCF comes equipped with an audio input plus level control. The following filter characteristics are available:

  • High-pass
  • Band-pass
  • Notch
  • Low-pass

Cutoff and resonance parameters are adjustable via potentiometers of the same name. Additionally, there are two CV inputs with attenuators to influence the filter frequency. The first of these control voltage connectors is intended for envelope modulations. The second instance was tailored for LFO signals. Furthermore, pitch signals coming from the system bus affect the second CV path. – Key tracking is thus possible without the need for patch cables. The connection between system bus and module can be cut via a jumper.
The resonance features a CV input plus attenuator as well. The filer’s edge steepness is -12 dB per octave. Processed audio material is emitted via an output.
