Details
The System Interface features six mono channel strips. Their inputs are followed by volume potentiometers. The first three audio paths offer pre-amplifiers with soft clipping stages, which can be activated via switches. High levels lead to distortion effects. LEDs visualize the volume of all channels. The first audio path is equipped with a direct output, which was placed right behind the pre-amplifier respectively LED. It allows the user to level or distort a signal without hogging the bus, aux or main channel.
After being processed in volume, material is passed on to the routing section. Audio path one to three can be individually send to the auxiliary (potentiometer), bus (switch) and master channels (switch). For positioning them in the stereo field, each instance was provided with a pan knob. Channel strip four, five and six get mixed before the routing section. Therefore, they can only be collectively sent to aux, bus and master.
The System Interface’s auxiliary channel comes with a master volume potentiometer. For returning externally processed material, there are two connectors. They are wired with the master channels.
Bus and stereo path feature level knobs as well. The headphone section can be fed by either of them. Therefore, it is usable for monitoring in the studio as well as creating cue mixes while playing a live set.
